Groundbreaking at Shafter Mennonite Brethren Church for school rooms
Ground was broken Sunday for additional church school rooms at the Shafter Mennonite Brethren Church. Mrs. David Cooke departed from Los Angeles International Airport for Paris to visit relatives. Jim Gloekeler and daughter Barbara, along with Mr and Mrs Philippe Russen, left for a three week vacation through Oregon and Washington.
