Maurice John Murphy 1 c of Shafter was honorably discharged from the U S Navy on July 16 1946 at Terminal Island after enlisting February 1 1945 and serving eight and a half months overseas He received the Asiatic Pacific and American Theater ribbons as well as the Victory medal Murphy last attended Lemoore High School.
