CCC Will Carry 41 Cotton Loans Indefinitely
The Commodity Credit Corporation will continue to carry 1941 cotton loans beyond July 31 1942 with producer repayment rights after maturity. Lending agencies holding 1941 certificates will carry them with 1 percent annual interest after July 31 1942. Cooperative associations will likewise advance 1 percent interest on member loans and CCC will amend 1941 Cotton Farms forms for marketing associations. In California 221 297 bales were produced in 1941, 27 repaid by June 27 1942.
