Shafter High Class of 1934 remembers youth and leadership
Editor notes the 1934 graduates’ lasting identity as they plan a 1979 reunion. Ray Neufeld, now retired in Porterville, and Alvina Hildebrand Bergman lead the alumni. The article recalls football triumphs, the Joseph cantata, new faculty, student activities, and a 1934 yearbook theme of a symphony of memories. Deceased members and current addresses of attendees are listed.
