FCC invites applications for Shafter 104.3 FM allotment
The FCC announced on January 11 1988 in Washington DC that a new commercial stereo FM channel at 104.3 MHz will be allotted to Shafter California as a Class A station. A 3000 watt max facility serving 700 square miles, with a filing window from January 11 to February 17 1988. Shafter DUI arrests and burglary report Jan 1988
Kern County Sheriff's Department North Area Substation released a Shafter area activity log for January 9 to 15 1988. Officers arrested James Long Patrick Jara Rodrigo Moreno and Manuel Jimenez for DUI under the influence of drugs or alcohol and or substances with a burglary report noting unknown suspects entered Maria Castro's residence in the 500 block of Sunny Lane and removed small toys, later recovered.
