Gordon Churchill Receives Discharge at Sacramento Center
Captain Gordon Churchill was discharged at the separation center in Sacramento last week. He and his wife with two daughters have lived in Shafter during three years of duty at Minter Field. They plan to move to Des Moines Iowa to visit Mrs. Churchill’s mother.

Drama Club Presents Plays at Shafter High School
Shafter High School drama club will present two one act plays in the auditorium on Friday. Burton Filut sponsors Cleaned and Pressed and Apartment for Rent is by M Filut. Cast includes Betty Virgil Bartel John Nikkel Odessa Harris Mary Cecilia Peters Pat Mettler directs. The group plans a four act play later this year.
