CHP to release September accident review next week

Grove praises Shafter venture amid job openings

Henry Ratzlaff former Kern Crest Manor administrator dies
Henry Ratzlaff moved to Shafter in the 1930s and served as Kern Crest Manor administrator from 1969 to 1976. He and his wife joined Shafter Mennonite Brethren Church in 1988 and spent retirement as World Radio Missionary Fellowship visitors in Quito. He is survived by children Stanley Linda Christine Ruth and Joyce, plus three sisters. Funeral services were held December 30 at Shafter Mennonite Brethren Church.
