Shafter High Mock Trial members honored on Dec 13
The Shafter High team elected to the Mock Trial Honor Court during the Fifth Kern County Annual Mock Trial Competition per Dr. Kelly F. Blanton. Team members include Salvador Avalos Cassie Ballard Deene Brittleston Mike Briggs Oliver Castilleja Robert Dorsett Rob Fannucchi Darren Filkins and others. Bakersfield High won county contest and progresses to state in Sacramento in March. Santa Claus visit at Shafter Branch Library on December 18 featured stories and puppets led by librarians.
