Music program expands at Shafter High School with two instructors
Shafter High School boosts music stature by adding two instructors Fahsbender and Merlini to lead expanded bands and strings. A new ensemble plan aims for a concert band of 85, an orchestra of 50, and a chorus over 100, with lessons during noon, after school, evenings, and Saturdays. Pianos borrowed from a local store help more students practice.
