Sequoia Elementary Students Win Kern County Science Fair
Sequoia Elementary School showcased science projects by James Gonzalez and Sebastian Denney who won top prizes. James tested four battery types to find the longest lasting, noting lithium batteries outlast standard types by about six hours. Sebastian proved dehydrated raisins can be rehydrated, with the driest raisins absorbing the most water. Both students advance to the Kern County Science Fair, praised by Richland School District for student and teacher achievement.
