Richland District Reports Expand Physical Education and Psychology Services

Final Public Rabies Clinics Weekend Close 1966 Program
The Health Department and the Veterinary Medical Association announce the last two public rabies vaccination clinics for dogs in 1966 at McFarland and Shafter on Thursday and Friday. Residents outside those towns may vaccinate and license if in unincorporated areas, or must take certificates to their city for tags. Dr. Owen A. Kearns notes 10,230 dogs treated in 59 clinics from January 3 to February 4, down from 10,877 in 1965. Bakersfield will have no more clinics this year. unserved residents should go to private veterinarians.
