Franklin L Martens born March 3 1922 in Reedley California to Franklin R and Katherine Penner Martens. He sang in church choirs and quartets while working as a bookkeeper across Delano and Shafter. He married Laura Schafer on July 14 1950 and enjoyed bus tours, gardening, sports, and daily rituals before Laura's 2003 passing. He is survived by siblings, children, grandchildren and great granddaughter. A private interment will follow at a later date.
