Four Thefts Reported in Shafter Area
Wasco substation deputies investigated four thefts in the Shafter area last week. Lloyd Grizzell of Wasco reported a disabled car on Kimberlina Road missing parts including battery and radiator cap. Drug Charges Set Against Three Suspects
A Bakersfield man, a Shafter woman and a 17 year old Oil dale youth were arrested by Shafter police near Pacific and Lerdo at 11 25 p m Wednesday for a traffic violation. King 23 of Shafter faced opiate and narcotics paraphernalia charges Williams 21 of Bakersfield was charged with an opiate. Narcotics paraphernalia was found in the rear of the transport vehicle after arrests.
