More than 200 Aviation Medical Examiners attended the Advanced Aviation Medical Seminar in San last week. Dr H W Voth M D of Shafter was among the participants with officials from FAA US Navy NASA Mayo Clinic and airline industry. Universities represented included University of California Harvard Ohio State University Utah and University of Toronto.

Terry's 50th Wedding Anniversary Honor in Shafter
Mr. and Mrs. A. V. Terry were honored on their 50th anniversary at a reception at their home 18844 Beck Ave Shafter California. The event was organized by their daughter Mrs. Marlen Jensen and Mrs. C M Golden with daughter in law Mrs Ward Terry. The Terrys wed in Alex Oklahoma December 24 1913 and moved to California in 1936. They have seven children Ward Lloyd James Marlen Carl M P Amos and others. Gifts included a money tree and a large three tier cake was served with Mrs Jensen and Mrs Golden at the serving table.
