Pesticide safety class set at SHS on Saturday
A pesticide safety course will be held at Shafter High School in the Ag building on Saturday February 21. Taught in English and Spanish, the class covers safe handling, safety gear, first aid, and state regulations. Certificates awarded on completion. enrolment limited to 35 with a minimum of 15. Orchestra Sought For Sound of Music at SHS
Volunteers are needed for the Sound of Music production at Shafter High School. Jeff Seward of Wasco will direct the orchestra with rehearsals beginning this week in the SHS auditorium. Interested musicians should attend rehearsals after 7 00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday. Performances are set for March 12 13 and 14.
