Arrest of James Davidson on theft and drug charges
James Gregory Davidson, 29, was arrested December 26 for stealing, forging, and cashing a check at Countryside Market and for being under the influence of a controlled substance. Police say he stole the check from his mother and cashed it for $40, and he admitted guilt while found under heroin influence. A bench warrant for drunk driving existed. He was taken to Kern County Jail awaiting arraignment.
