Letter praises Wally Ryker for airport work in Shafter
Dear Editor. Somebody has got to say it. Wally Ryker should be getting praise, not abuse. He has done a good job at the Minter Field Airport District both as a director and as an employee. The people of Shafter should be thanking him for his dedication to the airport. He was an employee at the Airport when he was reelected to the board of directors in 1985. The voters must have felt good about him to put him back on the board. I feel that all this talk about a conflict of interest is just sour grapes.
