Wasco Deputies Nab Burglars As Christmas Theft Spree Pauses
Wasco deputies, aided by alert neighbors, arrested two burglars at 1290 Birch Ave after a break in at a townhouse and recovered about 1200 worth of stolen goods including video games and a stereo. Traon James Jones 21 Compton, Jerome Dominique Maston 18 Wasco. Bail 17500 and 15000. A juvenile and another suspect faced charges for auto theft and burglary.

Shafter woman arrested in counterfeiting ring case
Kimberly Hart, 27, of Shafter was arrested December 23 in Wasco after a three week probe by the North Area Sheriff's Substation into a counterfeit check ring. She faces Forgery Conspiracy and drug charges with $110,000 bail. A separate arrest at Hart's Shafter home followed a December 10 search warrant.
