Mr and Mrs Glen Putman Sr of Altus Oklahoma visit son Glen Putman Jr and family in Shafter for the Christmas vacation.
Graveside services were held December 21 conducted by Rev. Cecil Poole for infant Derrel Gene Boyd born December 18 at Kern General Hospital and died December 18. He is survived by Mr. and Mrs. Edward Boyd of Shafter, Mrs. E. E. Boyd of Bakersfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Williams of Shafter. Janzeh Funeral Home arranged. interment in Shafter Cemetery.
Mr and Mrs P L Arnold host a holiday dinner with their immediate family. Attending are Mr and Mrs Dick Arnold and daughter Lynn, Mr and Mrs Murray Arnold and son Tommie and daughter Patty, and Mr and Mrs Fred Ruhlman.
