Existing County Industries To Stay Put In Dispersal Plan
Kern County plants serving Satco may remain, but new defense or defense-supporting industries must follow the government dispersal program. NPA official Frankenhoff said locating new plants away from existing concentrations is a local duty and may require only 10 to 20 miles apart. The plan aims to spread key targets while preserving free enterprise.
