The Bureau of Reclamation reports above average precipitation in Shasta Folsom and Mil watersheds for the month. Higher elevation snow depth exceeds usual levels though early snow pack water content is unknown. Millerotn Lake diversions to Friant Kern totaled 280 acre feet in November. none to Madera Canal. Millerton storage rose by 38,000 acre feet to 201,000 acre feet, from a 520,000 acre foot capacity.

Checks totaling 1 303 868 31 were presented to Kern County Tax Collector Leslie Weber as the first installment on the 1964 65 property tax assessment on Kern County Land Company and subsidiaries. The payments cover one half of the 5 062 709 36 total taxes for KCL and 81 898 46 for Kern County Canal and Water Company.

Francisca Aguilar Obituary In Shafter
Francisca Geronima Aguilar 70 of 30720 Martinez St Shafter died December 11 in a Bakersfield hospital. Recitation of the Rosary was said Monday in Mish Funeral Home Chapel and Requiem Mass Tuesday at St Therese Catholic Church. Interment followed in Shafter Cemetery. Born January 29 1894 in El Paso Texas she married Jose Aguilar in 1910 and they moved to California 47 years ago. She was active in church work and community affairs. Survivors include six children Ramon Joe and four daughters.
