Head on collision kills two injures six near Merced Avenue
Two killed and six injured in a head on crash on State Route 65 just south of Merced Avenue on December 5. Drivers Alex Gonzalez 23 Taft and Benistiano Carranza 51 Porterville collided while attempting a passing maneuver. Carranza Vega 23 Porterville died. three Daewoo passengers injured. Gonzalez and two Taft passengers sustained minor to moderate injuries.
