Graveside services conducted by Peters Funeral Home were held December 11 at Shafter Memorial Park.

Donations Pour In For Bakersfield Homeless Center Holiday Meal
Donors respond to help Bakersfield Homeless Center prepare its annual holiday meal on Sunday December 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1600 East Truxtun Avenue. The center seeks turkeys hams rolls butter potatoes eggs milk cranberry sauce and vegetables with about 60 turkeys and 40 hams still needed. Donations can be dropped off Monday through Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by December 13. For details call 322-9199.
