The city of Shafter spent $557 more in 1949-50 than 1948-49 while offsetting gains show receipts up by $3,270. Tax receipts reached $113,692 with total expenses at $98,377 for 1949-50, against $100,422 receipts and $97,820 expenses in 1948-49.
F. G. Shaw appointed secretary for the Seal organization’s event on August 20, 1951. He will oversee proceedings, distribution of materials, and coordination with members. The notice lists the date and official title for the role.
