Lolita Duerksen Weds Lector In Adventist Ceremony
Four hundred guests witnessed the Sunday evening wedding of Lolita Jean Duerksen daughter of Mr and Mrs C C Duerksen and Dr Albert Hirst of Arlington at the Seventh Adventist Church Vallejo attended by relatives. Rev J J Dollinger performed the ceremony with organ music and selections. attendants wore navy dresses, reception followed in Veterans Memorial Hall. The couple will honeymoon in Carmel and reside in Los Angeles. Lolita trained at Kern Academy Pacific Union College and works at White Memorial Hospital. her husband is a medical school graduate and pathology instructor.

Summer Studies and Trip End For Mrs Baughman
Mrs Laurence Baughman of Atlantic avenue concludes a summer of travel and study. She began with a week in San Francisco with her sister Mrs John Guthrie and family visiting Ice Follies. The bulk of the season was at Santa Barbara Girl Scout Camp on Frazier Mountain Park with Miss Jessie Buller of Shafter. The camp lay on a fault but no earthquake injuries occurred. The final weeks were spent in Long Beach with daughter and family Mr and Mrs Terry Compton and Deborah.
