Kern County Parks and Recreation Department with the Kern County Fire Department USFS and BLM issue an advisory affecting Kern County. Effective immediately no campfires open flames or barbeques allowed in Greenhorn Mountain Park Tehachapi Mountain Park and Westside Mountain Park. Portable stoves using gas jellied petroleum or pressurized liquid fuels allowed only in improved campsites. Restrictions remain until further notice.
