Weitz remembers life in earlier times and changes seen
Ike recalls earning 20 cents an hour and 12 hour days, not vacations. He describes buying a 1929 Model A for 750 dollars after a cold night in a 1927 Model T. He notes paved roads by the 1930s, changes to Rosedale Highway and Lerdo, and reminisces about the Green Hotel move and farm workers walking on Saturday nights.
