He is married to Carol Panter and has two young children.
At the August board meeting of the Shafter Historical Society plans were set to fill three board seats at the upcoming election. Dwayne Armstrong reported on the workday held first Saturday of the month at the Shafter Depot Museum. Hitchcock Hotel Committee members proposed publicity ideas to boost community involvement in preserving the landmark, with an old-fashioned ice cream social at the hotel to introduce the committee’s goals.
