American Cancer Society seeks CPS-3 volunteers in Kern County
The American Cancer Society calls Kern County residents to enroll in Cancer Prevention Study-3 at the Bakersfield Relay for Life on May 3 at Cal State Bakersfield. Enrollment covers ages 30 to 65, requires surveys, a waist measurement, and a blood sample, with long term follow ups. This first Kern County CPS-3 enrollment marks a nationwide effort to study cancer risks and prevention across a half million participants.
