Stressful Junior Miss coverage ends with simple film fix
On April 17 in Shafter, a reporter endured stress over a stuck camera during the Junior Miss Program. Backstage moments, a race to capture the winner, and a last minute film rescue from a bystander highlighted the night. The editor advised calm, and a family member eventually helped retrieve the photos, ending with two close ups saved for the winner. The event showcased strong performances by all 17 contestants.
