The 1960 Cancer Crusade is in full swing in Shafter led by Mrs Delores Meyer and co chair Jack Janzen assisted by the Shafter Junior Women's Club. The drive promotes cancer education and regular health checkups during April Cancer Control Month and urges men to engage with family health habits.
