County fire officials warn that added rainfall will boost grass and brush growth creating a serious fire hazard across the county. Capt. T L Kinkaid urges residents to clean property and follow strict burning rules including permits for open burning and safe incinerator use to prevent range and structure fires.
New Wasco residents are Mr and Mrs E R Harris and their three children Raymond Harold and Mary Jo who moved from Long Beach. Harris owns O K Rubber Welders at 1102 G St Wasco and serves the Shafter Wasco area. he was previously with the O K system in Long Beach and Tulsa.
