Pressure cooker testing urged for Wasco canning season
The Wasco district office of Pacific Gas and Electric Company announced a program to test all home pressure cookers before the spring canning season. Tests use compressed air to verify correct pressure readings and safe valve operation. Cookers may be left at PG&E offices or brought in during the testing period with dates set for April 26 1946 May 3 1946 and May 10 1946.
