Jubilation group to sing at Shafter church Saturday
Jubilation a Bakersfield Christian singing group performs at Shafter Congregational Church on Saturday April 25 at 7 p.m. The program, suitable for all ages, features member Chuck Buller Carl Watkins Bruce Watkins Vickie Mack Dorothy Buens Pati Neufeld and Marty Slezak with Jim Turner on piano and Gary Peter as sound man. The group led by Dr. Graham Heppel plans a July mission to Fiji for two weeks. Also noted: Pati Neufeld will release an album late May with Budge and Chapel Record Company of Monterey. Parents Daniel and LaVerne Bogan announce the birth of a son Jesse Ira Weldon Bogan on April 1 1961 at North Kern Hospital weighing eight pounds four and a half ounces and 21 half inches. The penguin note describes a male penguin incubating eggs between his feet.
