Gas Rate Hearing Set for April 27 29 by Public Utilities
The State Public Utilities Commission will hold hearings in Los Angeles April 27 28 and 29 on Southern California Gas Companys request to raise rates. The proposed increase would add about 80 cents to the typical monthly bill to cover rising operating costs including natural gas. Public testimony continues May 18 19 and 20 with independent reviews in June. The company serves about 1 660 000 customers across Fresno Imperial Kern Kings Los Angeles Riverside San Bernardino and Tulare counties.
