Shafter resident Henry Kohfeld celebrates 96th birthday
Longtime Shafter resident Henry Kohfeld turned 96 on April 6. He bikes everywhere, tends a 3000 foot garden on the Don Lovelace Ranch, and plans to garden until he passes away. Kohfeld began at Shell in 1922, retired in 1976, and cherishes a simple life one day at a time.
