Last Day to Register for June Primary Election Warned

County Clerk Vera K Gibson reminds electors that April 12 is the final day to register for the June 5 Direct Primary Election for those not yet registered. Eligible voters must be 21 by election day or US citizenship for 90 days, with California residence and prior registration details noted. Deputies To Register Voters At Local Safeway and Market

Deputies will be stationed at Safeway and Top’s Market this Saturday to assist voter registration for the June 5 primary. Registration closes next Thursday April 12. Residents must re register if changing name or precinct or if they did not vote in 1960. Eligible voters are 21 or older and have resided in the state one year, in the county 90 days and in the precinct 54 days prior to the election.
