The ninetieth annual Brownstown Baptist Association session closed at New Harmony five miles southeast of Crothersville with Rev. M. Dinsmore outlining missionary aims. 115 delegates and visitors from ten area churches attended. A committee named Seymour as 1926 meeting site and officers were re-elected. The group endorsed Indiana missionary fund division, aided Miss Anna Mize’s missionary training, and planned quarterly youth rallies and statewide evangelism efforts.

Fire destroys Hoosier Speedway grandstand
Damaged by an undetermined origin fire last night the grandstand at Hoosier Motor Speedway near Indianapolis was destroyed. Officials estimated the loss at about 12 000 dollars with no injuries reported.

County police recovered the eighteen months old daughter of Raymond Burroughs of Cincinnati after she was thought drowned in the Chattahoochee River. One and one half miles of state road No. 1 between this city and Louisville remain unpaved.
