Valuable Bulldog Rescued From City Sewer
Three boys Kenneth Tuell Donald Pollett and Brooks Hunter found a Boston bulldog trapped three days beneath a sewer manhole at Third and Walnut streets Friday around 10 pm. They lifted the cover, a rescuer climbed down fed and freed the dog returning it to its owner Donald Bush. The dog had been a Phoenix arrival recently and was recovered after missing since Tuesday evening.
