A Dallas firm, Texas Midwest Contracting, will begin tearing down and preparing the site at Fourth and Chestnut for Seymour's new Federal Building and post office. Local subcontractors will be used. Harold Niehls will oversee the project with demolition and construction set to wrap by March 29, 1964. The contract price stands at 322,773 dollars, well under the 445,000 appropriated.

SSHS to Hold 90th Commencement Exercises
Seymour Senior High School will celebrate its ninetieth annual commencement at 8 p m Friday in Shields Memorial gymnasium. Valedictorian Patricia Perrigo and salutatorian Joseph Cull lead the class of 1963, the largest in SSHS history with 218 graduates, though six will not participate.

Brownstown Man Hit By Bicycle in Ewing Incident
A 51 year old Brownstown man William Rochner was knocked unconscious for about 15 minutes after being struck by a bicycle ridden by 14 year old Terry Franklin in Ewing. Rochner suffered multiple injuries and was treated at Schneck Memorial Hospital along with the boy. A separate incident injured four year old Kenneth Ponder at home.
