Woman Hurt in Truck Collision in Columbus
Mrs. Charles Brooks of Columbus, formerly from this city, was severely injured Friday afternoon when a wrecker and a truck collided at Chestnut and Sixteenth streets. A tire struck her, she suffered multiple contusions and cuts, an X ray suggested possible broken bones but hospital reports later found no broken bones. The wrecker driven by Paul Conlin was wrecked and the truck by Ben McKinney damaged. street water hydrant was broken and flooding occurred.
