Seymour area woman dies in U.S. 31 crash near Franklin
Lyndean Payne 23 of Seymour R4 died from a skull fracture after a collision with a semi at U S 31 three miles south of Franklin Amity. Her husband Michael Payne 18 and semi driver Robbie Wright 33 of Miami were treated for injuries. Wright cross under to northbound lane and truck led to crash. Other fatalities included Elmon Clark 46 Fort Branch in Gibson County and Steve Curry 57 Portage in separate crashes.
