Regional basketball tournament draws 2500 visitors
About 2,500 visiting fans are expected for the Shields Memorial gymnasium regional basketball tournament this Saturday as season tickets go on sale. Four schools held regional spots after sectional wins with Bedford 766 tickets Jeffersonville 700 Brownstown 513 and Paoli 325 tickets. Local sales began at Shields High School with early demand and a total of 3,308 tickets issued for the tourney.
