A $50,000 damage suit moved to Jackson Circuit Court from Bartholomew Circuit Court alleges Hazel Ward died after a bakery truck tire blew out on U.S. 31 near Columbus. Plaintiff is Eillene W. McClure, administratrix, against Sap's Bakery Inc. and Frank Herold. Elsner and Elsner entered an appearance. Trial set for October 27. At about 9 15 a m Wednesday on U S 50 about 2 5 miles west of Seymour a 1957 sedan driven by Waddell Worthington 57 of Burnet Texas tried to pass a 1954 dump truck driven by Lawrence Greathouse 29 of Seymour as Greathouse turned onto Freeman Field Lane The left side of the dump truck struck the car causing about 400 damage to the auto and 75 to the truck Trooper J K Miller Seymour state police post investigated.

Woman Hurt As Auto Overturns Near Uniontown
Miss Ethel Cunningham, 65, of Sarasota Springs Florida and Indianapolis, suffered a fractured left knee and facial lacerations when her 1959 foreign semi sports car left U S 31 north of Uniontown and overturned at about 10:30 am. Damages were estimated at $600 to the car and $175 to a southbound coach driven by Thomas Gorman. Trooper Malcolm Heuss investigated.
