City Accepts RR Parking Lot Bid in Seymour
The Seymour board of public works and safety accepted the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad proposal for a two acre off street parking lot east of Tipton Street near the Pennsylvan ia tracks. Accident Blocks U S 50 Near Brownstown Involving Pickup and House Trailer
A pickup driven by Thelma Evelyn Doggett and a large house trailer were in a 12:45 p m collision on U S 50 near Brownstown causing the road to be blocked for about 30 minutes. The trailer overturned and damaged guard posts while the truck overturned with a passenger, Glen Doyle, sustaining minor injuries. Contributing factors included newly resurfaced slick pavement and a crosswind in a highway dip.

Gas rate hike suspended for Texas Eastern Transmission
