Arm Amputation After Truck Crash West of Medora
Bruce Brown fifty of Norman R1 suffered the loss of his left arm above the elbow when his westbound pickup sideswiped a stone truck on U S Route 50 near the Medora junction. He was treated at Schneck Memorial Hospital where doctors amputated the limb. The crash occurred about 7 05 Monday night. Cletus Hildebrand of Bedford drove the other truck. Troopers Gray and Conway investigated.

Mrs A A Cohn wife of Dr A A Cohn pastor of the First Baptist Church sustained a seriously broken right shoulder in a yard fall at 406 West Tipton street Monday night. She was taken to Schneck Memorial Hospital for X rays before being moved to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis by Dr Cohn who was at a meeting when the accident occurred.

Recreation Fund Increase Asked by Seymour Boys' Club

Minor Accident Under Police Investigation in Seymour
City police investigated a minor collision Monday night at 5 45 near West Third and North Chestnut streets. Carl Weller 40 of 1400 East Tipton backed into Edward Lustig 49 of 306 North Poplar while both vehicles stopped behind each other. Damages totaled 30 dollars to Lustig s car and Weller s vehicle had no damage. No injuries and no citations were issued.

State Road 62 north of Watson saw a fatal crash early today when a car passed another vehicle and struck a motorcycle. Chester L. Polio Vaccination Effort Begins in Montgomery
In Montgomery Alabama the first of more than 30 000 children are being inoculated with polio resisting gamma globulin as part of a mass effort by the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis.
