Youths Get Terms For Auto Theft
Two Columbus youths Herbert Kelller and Charles Pedigo were sentenced to six months at the state penal farm for vehicle taking in Jackson Circuit Court Judge John M. Lewis ordered the term after a guilty plea. The pair, ages 18 and 17, allegedly stole four automobiles including a 1959 car belonging to Harry Benge of Vallonia and wrecked it near Salem while fleeing on foot.
