Annual Session Of Board Of Review To End Tuesday
The Jackson County board of review will end its annual 30 day session on Tuesday June 30 as members wrap up work on mortgage exemptions old age exemptions and soldiers exemptions filed by county real estate owners. The session opened June 1 with petitions for reassessment of real estate discussed after hearings by the Indiana state board of tax commissioners. Three Injured as Pair of Cars Totaled in Seymour Crash
On U S Alternate 31 four miles north of Seymour at 11 45 a m Friday three people were injured when a 1953 coach northbound and a 1946 sedan southbound collided left front to left front. Dan Kiel 77 of Seymour was cited for failure to yield. William Wendling 75 and his wife Gertrude 67 of Harrisburg Illinois received bruises and an X ray was taken. Both cars were a total loss. They were treated and released.

Medora Youth Charged With Concealing Weapon
A 19 year old Medora youth, Joe J. Garland, was arrested by Officer Jackie R. Nowling at 12 45 p m Friday in the 100 block of East Second Street for concealing a four foot chain. A Seymour man’s car was damaged about $400 in a two car collision at Central avenue and the U.S. 31 A bypass in Columbus at 7 30 a m Friday. William F. Carrico 25 was driving south on Central when Mrs. Alice Hoagland Columbus R4 struck his car. Hoagland said she swerved to miss another car. Her auto sustained about $650 damage.
