Seymour 11 year old Chris Schnepf finishes his soap box racer "Chris's Crate" with a red paint job and black trim for the Indianapolis Derby on July 11 and 12. He built the car in three months from scraps, using wheels bought for six dollars and a steering wheel from a crashed airplane. He is the son of Dorothy Schnepf of 337 Emerson Drive and will attend Shields Junior High, having just completed the sixth grade at Emerson School.
