Conrad delivered the Centennial message. about 200 attended a fellowship dinner at Shields Park. The evening pageant titled The First Baptist Church Then and Now opened with Scene One set in 1839.

Vallonia Woman Dorcas Humphrey Dies at 72
Vallonia resident Mrs. Dorcas J. Humphrey age seventy two died at her home after a five year illness. Funeral services were held at the Vallonia Methodist Church with Rev. J. W. Trowbridge in charge. Burial was in Vallonia cemetery. She was born December 31 1866 in Washington County to John W. and Angeline Boling Underwood. She was married to John.
